Cedar Breaks

Location: Twenty four miles east of Cedar City, UT.

Find the location: Copy the coordinates below. Open Google Earth, paste the coordinates into "Fly To" and click on the magnifying glass.

Equipment: Canon EOS 5D, 16-35 lens, polarizing filter. Shot at f22, 1/13 second set on ISO 50.

Notes: This area is somewhat similar to Bryce Canyon National Park, also located in the area. Much of Cedar Breaks is located at or above 10,000 feet making it home to the relatively rare Bristlecone Pines distinguished as the oldest living things on earth. At that altitude, respirable air is about the same as what you get if you crack your helmet during a space walk.
