Grand Canyon Morning

Location: Grand Canyon, South Rim, north central Arizona. Roughly:

Equipment: Canon AE-1 with 28-85 lens and polarizing filter. Velvia transparency film ISO 50.

Digital imaging/manipulation:  Image scanned with Minolta Dimage Scan Multi PRO at 4800 dpi.  Emulsion artifact removed.

Notes: Shot from the South Rim Road. I cant say exactly where but if you check the overlooks, it'll still be there. This park is beautiful in all seasons, but the winter has lower crowds and the snow is often a nice addition. The temperature up top is obviously below freezing. The temperature on the river is said to be about the same as Phoenix on the same day.
