Location: A little over 40 miles west north west out of Page, AZ on Highway 89 is the turnoff for House Rock Road. NOTE: you can go two directions out of Page. This one takes you over the Glen Canyon Dam. You will pass through Big Water, UT. From there the turnoff is about 22 miles ROUGHLY. It is easy to miss. As you head west, a few miles past Cottonwood Canyon Road, the highway takes a right turn and goes up a hill. At the start of that turn (and at the base of the hill) the road takes off to the left. It is hard to see and may or may not be marked.

Find the location: Copy the coordinates below. Open Google Earth, paste the coordinates into "Fly To" and click on the magnifying glass.

Notes: This is a great drive. The rock colors are striking. The road takes you to the trailheads for Coyote Buttes and The Wave (permit required). The road alone is worth the trip. Check out a map and you can leave Page heading northwest on Highway 89, take House Rock Road to the south and return to Page on 89A/89. Come to think of it, you could leave Page heading southwest on 89/89A and go north on House Rock Road...Awesome!
