Moonrise Over Monument Valley

Location:  Monument Valley, located in the southeastern part of Utah. It is northeast of Kayenta, AZ and southwest of Mexican Hat, Utah.

Find the location: Copy the coordinates below. Open Google Earth, paste the coordinates into "Fly To" and click on the magnifying glass.

Equipment: EOS 5D Mark II with 24-105 lens with polarizer. ISO 12,800, f4.0 for 30 seconds.

Notes: This was taken from the deck of our room at The View Hotel around 11:30 PM. Now I know that looks like sunrise but it isn't. It even fooled me and I was there.
