Snake Handler - Buckhorn Wash

Location: Buckhorn Wash is located near the San Rafael Swell, northwest of Green River Utah. Starting from Green River, head west on I-70. Very roughly, 35-40 miles from Green River, County Road 332 crosses under I-70. Take that to the north. As you turn onto this gravel road, it immediately turns back east for a few miles before turning north again. The turn off of I-70 West is at:

Find the location: Copy the coordinates below. Open Google Earth, paste the coordinates into "Fly To" and click on the magnifying glass.

38° 52 52.32" N
110° 39' 34.40" W

Proceed North roughly 20-25 miles (this is a best guess) starting from the intersection with I-70 to the Buckhorn Wash Panel at:

39° 07 24.51" N
110° 41' 37.93" W

Equipment: EOS 5D Mark II with 24-105 mm lens (taken at 105 mm) with polarizer at f 20 for 1/4 sec. at ISO 50.

Digital imaging/manipulation: Color adjustment.

Notes: Buckskin Wash is located in or around the San Rafael Swell and near the Wedge. The road is gravel and maintained though bad weather could change that. You'll need to check local conditions. There are several pictographs along the panel. They are similar to the pictographs at the Great Gallery. I don't know what this guy was doing with that snake, but I bet they both regretted it later.
