Buffalo Grazing - Yellowstone

Location: Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. It was roughly:

Find the location: Copy the coordinates below. Open Google Earth, paste the coordinates into "Fly To" and click on the magnifying glass.

44° 42' 06.57" N
110° 30' 18.50" W

That's not exact, but it's only been 20 years. The buffalo is probably still there.

Equipment:  Canon AE-1 with 70-210 lens and polarizing filter.  Kodachrome 64..

Digital imaging/manipulation:  Image scanned with Minolta Dimage Scan Multi PRO at 4800 dpi.  Emulsion artifact removed.

Notes:  This was taken in 1987. We stayed at Flagg Ranch at the south end of the park. I don't think they have winter lodging now but it's worth checking. In the morning you could see moose grazing in the Snake River. Snow mobiles were allowed on the groomed park roads, but not off. I think tours are guided now.
