College Fjiord Evening

Location: College Fjord is in the norther part of Prince William Sound along the southern coast of Alaska. This was shot from the deck of a cruise ship.

Equipment:  Canon AE-1 with 70-210 zoom lens and polarizing filter. Probably Ektachrome 64.

Digital imaging/manipulation:  Image scanned with Minolta Dimage Scan Multi PRO at 4800 dpi.  Emulsion artifact removed, exposure adjusted to lighten.

Notes: We took about three days out of Vancouver in the mid 80s and found a number of photographic opportunities only available from the oceanside. Another of the Leisure Photographer Series, you site in a deck chair, sip a drink, and let the scenery go by.
