Geyser by Moonlight

Location: Yellowstone National Park, Norris Geyser Basin in the summer of 1983.

Find the location: Copy the coordinates below. Open Google Earth, paste the coordinates into "Fly To" and click on the magnifying glass.

Equipment: EF-1 24-80 lens. Kodachrome 64 (in all probability).

Digital imaging/manipulation: Image scanned with Minolta Dimage Scan Multi PRO at 4800 dpi.  Emulsion artifact removed.

Notes: This was shot in the area of Steamboat Geyser as best I can recall. OK, you've gotta give me a break here, it was 1983...I'm lucky I can even remember it was Yellowstone.
