Lone Buffalo - Theodore Roosevelt NP

Location: On the road out of Medora, North Dakota, you go through the South Unit where I believe this was taken. Bismarck has an airport that accomodates larger commercial jets and is located about 135 miles east of Medora. I'm guessing at the coordinates, but the location is roughly:

46° 57' 46.18" N
103° 29' 30.55" W

Equipment: Canon 30D 28-85 lens, polarizing filter.

Digital imaging/manipulation: None

Notes: First, I know they're bison, not buffalo. And whales aren't fish (right). This area has some beautiful scenery and nice large, slow moving animals that are easy to photograph. Just don't get too close. They can be grumpy and they have big horns. The badlands are very colorful. This is a really pleasant, laid-back, uncrowded place to visit and I'd recommend it particularly in warmer months.
