Joshua Tree Blossom - Death Valley

Location: Death Valley California. This was taken coming in from the west along the highway as it crossed the Darwin Plateau.

Find the location: Copy the coordinates below. Open Google Earth, paste the coordinates into "Fly To" and click on the magnifying glass.

Equipment: Canon SD950 7.7mm, 1/200 sec f 8.0, ISO 80. This picture was taken the last week in March.

Digital imaging/manipulation:  None.

Notes: The closer access from a large airport is from Las Vegas. We came down from Reno, NV. That's about a 6-7 hour trip, but the scenery is great.
