Passing Storm - Golden Gate

Location: At the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge (the side toward Sausalito) exit the highway and turn left passing under the bridge. This take you into a preserve where you can get several pictures of the bridge from the water level to high above.

Find the location: Copy the coordinates below. Open Google Earth, paste the coordinates into "Fly To" and click on the magnifying glass.

Equipment: Canon EOS 1 100-300mm lens and polarizing filter. Velvia ISO 50 transparency film.

Digital imaging/manipulation: Image scanned with Minolta Dimage Scan Multi PRO at 4800 dpi.  Emulsion artifact removed.

Notes: This is a very interesting area. Many people visit Forts Cronkite and Barry and get shots from there, but a little driving around will get you to other photogenic places. This must have been taken near Point Bonita.
